Skiing Career Highlights
Ted Ligety, USA Born 1984 in Salt Lake City. A Giant Slalom specialist who has been dominant at the discipline over the past few years. His career took off off when he was the surprise winner of the 2006 Olympic Combined Gold Medal. 2013 has been his most successful year to date winning 3 titles at the World Championships - Super G, Giant Slalom and Super Combined. He also won 4 Giant Slalom races to secure his 4th World Cup crown in GS. An Olympic GS title followed in 2014 and a 5th World Cup GS title. In 2015 he won his 3rd consecutive World Giant Slalom title.
