Skiing Career Highlights
Bode Miller, USA Born 1977 in Franconia, New Hampshire. A hard charging Slalom specialist who has disciplined himself into an all-rounder, winning the Overall World Cup crown in 2005 with victories in all 4 disciplines. He also won 2 World Championship gold medals in a breakthrough year. However his maverick personality still leads to inconsistent performances. In 2008 he skied as an independent and regained the Overall World Cup title. After another barren spell he achieved success in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and won the Gold in the Super Combined.
