Skiing Career Highlights
Maria Hoefl - Riesch, Germany Born in 1984 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A slalom specialist who has developed into an all-round skier capable of challenging for the Overall World Cup title. 2010 was a successful season crowned by double gold in the Vancouver Olympics in Slalom and Super Combined. In 2011 she won in three disciplines and battled her great rival Lindsey Vonn to the Overall World Cup crown. In her final year of competition she crowned her career with a third Olympic gold & a World Cup downhill title.
