Swimming Career Highlights
Inge de Bruijn, Holland Born : 1973 in Barendrecht. After an unexceptional early career, de Bruijn matured into a world class swimmer. The development of speed and strength for the explosive 50 and 100 metres events led to 3 golds in the Sydney Olympics. She repeated her 50 metres Freestyle success at Athens. Current world record holder for the 50 metres Freestyle and 100 metres Butterfly.
