Tennis Career Highlights
Kim Clijsters,  Belgium Born : 1983 in Bilzen. Clijsters has a strong back court game based on heavy ground strokes and good athleticism. After early success leading to her first Major at the US Open, she could not compete with the success of her Belgian compatriot Justine Henin and she became disillusioned and retired. She returned to tennis, after having a baby, in a more relaxed frame of mind to win two more US Open titles and challenge for the No1 ranking. 2011 began with her 4th Major at the Australian Open.
